Millenipede is a shooter inspired by old Atari arcade games, Centipede and Millipede.
The goal in each stage is to shoot the title millenipedes, coming in waves from the top of the screen. They would normally travel across the whole screen until they hit the edge and descend a line, but if they hit an obstacle they also descend. Playfield is usually filled with obstacles (they are destroyable though), so they in fact move towards the bottom quickly. Destroyed millenipedes turn into "mushrooms" which block the path and allow the alive ones descend even faster. There are also other enemies, like spiders, snails and wardens who appear if you are unable to cope with a wave for too long. Luckily, there are also many powerups, including shields, smart bombs and other.
Millenipede was chosen as 5th best remake of 2007 by IndieGames portal.
